Monitoring the water level in open channels of regional utility company needs to be carried out ensure availability raw processed. This research focuses on making a prototype monitoring system an channel utilizing WSN (Wireless Sensor Network) component as application IoT (Internet Things) concept. is using infrared sensor GP2Y0A02KF0Y. The real-time measurement results are then sent XBee wireless communication, processed by Raspberry Pi saved database and displayed website. data can presented website graphs tables. GP2Y0A02YK0F has error 1.02% with correlation coefficient 0.9998. average delay sending 1 second. work well when measuring channel. advantages this that instrument used high accuracy at affordable price, uses low power, easy operate, store present
